To fix the inaccurate weapons, you'll need to find the dispersion values in three places and adjust them accordingly. The "_RP" patches tend to leave two/three problems in the vanilla game unfixed or half-fixed: Horribly inaccurate weapons, bullet spongey enemies, and (more debatably) carry weight. These games have very active modding scenes, but mostly in Russian/Ukrainian, and for some reason STALKER modders tend to avoid the nexus like the plague and only use moddb, which is horrid in my opinion and makes it much harder to find the good mod(s) you're looking for. Some overhaul mods aren't compatible, so if you really want to be playing modder's megalomania then skip this, and lookup the file extractor to get whatever config files you need for further tweaks if necessary. That is ZRP for this game, SRP for Clear Sky, and PRP for Call of Pripyat. Particularly Clear Sky, to the point I would recommend skipping that game entirely unless you enjoy having a bad time, and only play this game and Call of Pripyat instead.įor all three games, start by installing the "_RP" mods at a minimum to get the games functional and remove most all the game-breaking bugs and fix other issues when possible. These games are gems, but have a really awful coat of rust (bugginess and bad balancing and progression) that you need to scrape off using mods.
